Link a jurisdiction

Permit Radar pulls permit data from each jurisdiction's online portal on your behalf. Before we can sync a jurisdiction, you'll grant us access by linking your portal credentials. For details on how those credentials are stored and used, see Data privacy.

Add your first jurisdiction

  1. Sign in to Permit Radar.
  2. Open Company Settings from the navigation.
  3. In the Linked Jurisdictions section, click Link Jurisdiction →.
  4. Pick the jurisdiction you want to track from the dropdown.
  5. Enter the Portal username and Portal password you use on that jurisdiction's portal.
  6. Click Link jurisdiction to save.

What happens next

  • Permit Radar starts syncing data in the background. New permit data will appear in the dashboard within an hour of saving.
  • You can revoke Permit Radar's access at any time by clicking Unlink next to a jurisdiction in Company Settings.
